I have 16 years experience in the field of education. I have taught both special and general education to elementary and middle school children.

I have been a finalist for teacher of the year for 3 years. I have been an interim principal at my school. My class has been science fair winners the last 2 years.
I graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa with a degree in Special Education. I have taken additional courses at the college level to be certified to teach Early Childhood Education and Adult Education. I have my ESOL and Reading Endorsement. I am a SMART Board and FOCUS trainer. I have lots of additional training in behavior management. I am a Trained Behavior Specialist.
I love my family: my husband and three sons. I am a soccer coach for teens and teach religious education at my church. I love the outdoors especially fishing and gardening.
