We feel that strong vocabulary is a necessity in every content area. According to Marzano, a leading educator and researcher, learning vocabulary is most effective when the word or concept is connected to a symbol, definition, and repeated exposure, as well as put into context. We try and fulfill all of these strategies in our vocabulary units.
