This is a little book about the various equipment found in a science lab. It is geared towards younger ages, but does talk about bunsen burners, centrifuges, etc. So this would be a good introduction for all ages.
These are Book Reading Questions designed to accompany James Watson and Francis Crick's THE DOUBLE HELIX book. This is an excellent book for any teacher who likes to assign outside reading for their Science classes. I personally assign a new book to all of my general Biology students and all of my Anatomy and Physiology students every semester as part of their grade.
This is an activity where students read and article, take individual notes, discuss with their group and share out. The last part contains a graphic organizer for class consensus on what the take-aways are. It is longer than the cover photo shows.
