Non-Fiction Non Fiction Text Features Matching Worksheet Activity Assessment
I have used this as an assessment and for practice. It is great because it gives your student a visual of what that non-fiction text feature looks like, along with the name and definition of that feature. An answer key is included. I have also included a short reading that explains each feature- great for using in homework too! I have found this to really help my visual learners. Enjoy!

Text Features Sort Cards
Text features are necessary and help with comprehension. There is also a lot of vocabulary involved in text features, and this can be difficult for English language learners. I use this sort activity to help my students practice defining and identifying text features. There are three cards each for 15 different text features: the feature, definition, and an example picture. I print, laminate, and cut the cards and keep them in a bag.
