What's the Matter: Teaching Science to First Graders
This lesson is the first science lesson about matter. Vocabulary include: matter, classification, properties, and the five senses. There is a solo activity and group activity. After the activity is complete, students write in their journals.
It is intended to be used with first graders, but could probably be used with kindergarten to second grade, also.
