Description

Building literacy skills are crucial for children with language delays. This set of five Aesop's fables was designed to help children improve their understanding of story grammar, comprehension, sequencing, and story-retelling skills.

It is surprising how often Aesop's fables pop up in children's lit, on video, and in movies. Having an understanding or familiarity with the original story helps children understand what they are reading or watching. It can also help with learning later idioms, such as "don't cry wolf."
