Since 2008, I have worked for as an SLP at an Early Childhood Education setting for children with extra needs. I am truly honoured to work with the children that I do. They challenge me to grow as a therapist and a human being.
I believe that children learn best when they don't know that they are learning. I work in a play-based educational setting where the needs of the child are priority. It is truly amazing to see how quickly children learn when they are having fun. I believe that in order for children to develop and grow their fullest potential, the environment also must be adjusted to match the child.
