What educators are saying

A great way to outline the important facts surrounding the war of 1812. The worksheets were easy to use and easy to understand.
I’ve used this as both as an easel activity and as a worksheet activity and both have worked well with my grade 7 Alberts SS students.

It delves into the Great Migration, the extinction of the Beothuk people, the construction of the Rideau Canal, and life in the 1830s. The workbook also examines the Lower and Upper Canada Rebellions, their consequences as outlined in the Durham Report, and the concept of responsible government.

Furthermore, this workbook explores the impact of slavery in Upper Canada, the heroic efforts of the Underground Railroad, and the challenges posed by epidemics during the 1800s.
