Students fluent in English have difficulty with many of the terms used and concepts studied in science. It can be even more difficult for ESL students to learn these science terms and concepts. Teaching ESL students can be challenging, especially when different levels of proficiency are in the same class. It has even more challenges when you are teaching science, a language of its own! These resources were designed with this in mind.

These include resources for Spanish speakers learning English, but editable versions are included that can have other languages added if needed. NOTE: Although many of these resources include a version that is fully translated, many are only partially translated as these were developed to help these students learn English.
