Skills for Leaders--A Quarter Long Curriculum

This is my quarter long curriculum to teach basic leadership skills to incoming seventh graders. This program has been so successful that our school has determined it necessary for every incoming seventh grader to take. The concepts may seem simple to adults, especially those of us well versed in operating within a professional and academic context. However, as our students come in with a variety of different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, using this curriculum to level the playing field among all students is an integral component of ensuring a truly equitable education for all students. Included in the zip file are 14 multi day mini lessons, a peer feedback template with rubric, a homework and organization template, class syllabus, teacher guide and assignment for a final project. All files are fully modifiable.
