At CK Montessori we follow the philosophy of teaching developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. You will notice when looking through our materials that our lessons are based on reality. A large part of Dr. Montessori's philosophy stems from the fact that children naturally love to learn and do not need to be drawn in by colorful borders and cartoon animals. In fact these additions can distract and even confuse the young child who wants to learn and is fascinated by reality.
