I've taught in both private and public schools as a classroom teacher and a substitute teacher in kindergarten, first grade, second grade, fifth grade, and ESL.
I believe in a blended teaching style and being as inclusive as possible. The ability to tailor lessons and activities to meet student needs provides the most opportunities for growth. With our youngest learners, I think getting kids excited to learn by using a variety of techniques helps them discover the way they learn best.
I attended Texas Woman's University where I received my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies for EC-4 Education with an emphasis on ESL.
