TEACHING EXPERIENCE

As a struggling learner in math, I've created charts and graphics to assist my struggling students become proficient in mathematics. I am currently an Assistant Principal at an elementary school. I've been a math coach for approximately 5 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that teaching math is always hands on. We can manipulate learning by moving, touching, building, and taking apart.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I've been awarded Beginning Teacher of the Year (2005) and Math Teacher of the Year (2007, 2008, and 2009).

I have a BA in Music, MS in Elementary Education, Ed.S in Educational Leadership, and a Ph.D in Curriculum and Instruction.
