TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I commenced my career in mathematics education at an International School in 2012, immediately after achieving a Master of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania. My work is centered at designing a new curriculum based on the Shanghai mathematics curriculum while incorporating the strengths of the US Common Core Standards. I'd like to share this unique curriculum, including slides and worksheets.

MY TEACHING STYLE

In my teaching approaches, I focus on nurturing students to inquire, explore, think, and apply mathematics theorems and skills. Through these methods, I’ve observed notable advancements in students’ mathematical cognition and creative thinking. My dedication extends to researching innovative teaching strategies that effectively foster higher-order and advanced cognitive thinking skills.
