TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 6th grade math and Language Arts in a middle school setting. Math is my jam! I went on to teach 3rd grade and once again I loved teaching those little kiddos everything, but math was just so exciting to see them grasp! I then dropped to 2nd grade. They were fun and energetic. We learned a lot together!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have more of a hands on learning style. I love to get my kids out of their seats and moving, whether that is doing a simple stand up sit down activity or just wandering around the room to solve questions. I like to use manipulatives and apply things to real life as much as I can.
