I love to teach and I am passionate about creating the best possible learning environment for my students. I'm from Roswell, Georgia and currently teach in Toronto, Ontario. I believe in child-centered learning, providing opportunities for exploration, hands on learning, and collaborative learning practices. My focus is on student centered learning through hands-on experiences and discovery for learners from the preschool and kindergarten level, up to Gr 5. My French resources range from beginner to intermediate. I'm always trying my best to offer educational activities and resources that are aligned with the Ontario Curriculum, while maintaining a fun and interesting approach that will keep all learners engaged and excited about learning!
I have been awarded multiple science, art, sports, service, and leadership awards.
I have an Honours Bachelors of Science and a Bachelors of Education. I also have extensive learning technology experience. Multiple Additional Qualifications in the areas of Reading, Kindergarten and Early learning, English Language Learners, and Library. Having spent many years in Paris as a child I am fluent in French and have taught both Core French to grade 4-8 as well as French Immersion.
I'm a mother of 4, including twins! I love to teach and spend time outdoors enjoying nature.
