TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This marks my 21st year teaching, although I truly believe I have not yet worked a day during these years. My passion is educating others, whether it's students, colleagues, friends and family. I love what I do!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a variety of teaching styles...it's whatever works for each student. I tend to lean more a constructivist style.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have been recognized year after year as a top educator in my school district for using the latest brain research strategies in my classroom.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Undergraduate degree in Elementary Education PreK-6th with a concentration in Geography. Graduate degree in Reading, K-12th with a specialization in special education.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have taught for 7 years in New York and 13 years in Colorado. In addition to being a Reading Specialist for the Boulder Valley School District, I was a consultant/educator for Gray Matters- Brain Based Consulting Company in Colorado.
