TEACHING EXPERIENCE

13+ years in education teaching both 1st grade (7 years) and 4th grade (4 years) in both Colorado and Texas. Most recently, I serve as the PK-12 instructional literacy coach for a district in East Texas, as well as a doctoral student at UT Tyler in School Improvement.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My passion is creating fun and engaging ways to teach EVERY child. I have worked with at-risk students in title I schools my entire career, and over the years I have been able to use my creativity to develop activities and strategies that can support all students' learning styles and achievement levels.
