TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 20th year teaching and I still love every day. I have taught preschool, kindergarten, first grade, and a combined third/fourth grade class. I own a small Christian school in Texas which has students aged 2 years old through 2nd graders. You can find me on instagram at A Day Of Play And Wonder and at The Cypress School. (I used to be A Day In First Grade.)

My classroom is a mix of inquiry based education, the Reggio Emilia approach, PBL, Montessori, and best teaching practices. I truly love what I do and try to make every lesson as engaging as possible.
