By Long After The Bell Rings I've spent 16 years as a classroom teacher, in kindergarten and first grade.
I am passionate about all things Social Emotional Learning. After taking a course on Responsive Classroom, I will forever believe in the power of a morning meeting, bucket filling, and the RC approach. Creating a learning environment where students feel loved, valued, and empowered must come before opening a textbook. I want students to understand what they are learning, and take ownership of it in a fun way. My classroom is based on hard work, making progress, and constantly celebrating successes, big or small!
