Since 2018, I have been a Pre-K to 8th grade STEM teacher at a rural public school in Maine. Previously, I've been a second grade teacher, worked with high school and adult learners, and facilitated a variety of after-school STEM and technology clubs.
I believe that STEM learning should be playful, joyful, and creative. I love to present my students with open-ended design prompts and see where their ideas lead them. The learning in my classroom is often loud and messy, but we also experience the thrill of engaging in hard fun!

I graduated from Colby College and completed my M.Ed in Language and Literacy at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
