TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my thirteenth year of teaching Social Studies. I have taught both High School and Middle School grades. My experience has allowed me to become more knowledgeable in many different Social Studies content areas and time periods.

I prefer a project based learning environment in which students complete hands-on tasks that require deep thinking, time, and effort.

Teaching is a passion of mine that I have had since I can remember. I enjoy teaching students of all ages. I have also been extensively involved in student activities and athletics as well. I believe that teachers are one of the best resources for our students today. I want to share some of the resources that I have created and used with students in my classroom.
