The Davises are a husband and wife team who specialize in classroom management and education efficiency methods. Jennie's Experience: Jennie is her school's 2018 Teacher of the Year. She is a second generation teacher with 9 years in education. She has worked a wide variety of classroom environment including majority ESL students, Title 1 schools, high income school districts, Behavior Intervention Special Education, Gifted and Talent, and leads her school's robotics team. She is now a happy 5th Grade Teacher. Her diverse experiences have given her a specialty in classroom management techniques to aid teachers better do their jobs. Jon's Experience: Jon is a Middle School ELA and Creative Writing teacher. He also holds certifications for Social Studies, Civics, and Geography 6-12, as well as Business, Econ, and Technology. Prior to education, his specialty was in business management and prior military. His focus is on systems to help increase efficiency for teachers and maximize time spent teaching and minimize the administrative load.

Jennie keeps a strict and orderly classroom. She's always on her feet to give as much individual attention to all her students. She focus on utilizing new technologies and innovative techniques to give her students the unique advantage of a modern educator. Jon's teaching style combines the use of classroom teams to empower and motivate students to lead their peers, as well as creative disciplines designed to improve student behavior through character building.

Jennie is the 2018 Marietta Elementary's Teacher of the Year

Jennie received her education degree from Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas. Jon received his management degree from the University of North Texas after receiving his Honorable Discharge after serving four years in the United States Marine Corps.

We've been married since we were 18. That's right. We graduated high school and two weeks later we were married. A week after that I (Jon) was in bootcamp. After two tours to Iraq and several cross country moves we left the military life and went on to finish our education. Now we have finished that chapter of our life and moved back to our home town in Oklahoma where Jennie teaches her 5th Grade class in the same school we both attended when we were younger. We have two daughters, Gabi and Ava, and a very annoying dog. When not at work, Jennie scrapbooks the many adventures life has thrown our way, and Jon likes to write.
