I have been teaching for 6 years in North Carolina. I have taught mostly 4th grade with the exception of half a year in 2nd grade and half a year in 3rd grade. I just recently had twins and am taking a leave of absence to focus on caring for them their first year!

I am very much student lead in my teaching style. I know my content and use that to help create engaging and interactive lessons for my students based on their likes, dislikes and ability. I believe students need realistic yet firm boundaries and expectations. Classroom management has always been an area I thrive in and take great pride in creating a wonderful classroom community/family.
