Cooperative Learning Job Cards
These are great for organizing group work and cuts out the questions on who can do what. You can print these out on full pages and display them or do what I do and print multiple per page so I can just hand them out to students during group work. That way, each student gets a chance to play each role and the responsibilities are right there on the card. If there is any way I can modify them to suit you better just let me know. Practice Technical Writing: Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich
This is a perfect activity for any grade level or discipline. Students will write directions for making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Other students will have to create their sandwich based off the directions, exactly as they are written.
This is a great activity for reinforcing the use of details when writing - and the disasters that can result when details are omitted.
