This is a PARCC Research Task Analysis with Prose Constructed Response (Writing Task) Simulation and is designed in the exact format as the PARCC 2015 Practice Test. This is a great way to start working on STAAR passages with your students after the holidays. It is a very bright idea a coworker shared with me about four years ago to start implementing STAAR simulations in the classroom. I modified it a bit and gave it a name as well designed the thinking tracks that go along with it. It is a extremely engaging way to apply all knowledge previously taught in the classroom. Adjective Flipchart
This is the Flipchart I use to introduce and review Adjectives with my students. It begins with a brainstorming activity (directions included). all you would need to gather are sticky notes and some paper.
It includes definitions, notes, examples, practice examples, and "game" like activities. I also linked the appropriate Brain Pop videos directly into the Flipchart, so all you have to do is click the link!
