This is an activity that I use after teaching the properties of exponents. It can be used as a review for the test or as one of the tiered activities in a differentiated lesson. It really makes the kids think because it is not just rote practice. They have to understand the laws of exponents in order to find the mistake presented. There are also practice problems for each exponent property.

I used common errors when creating this to help them see the mistakes commonly made. This would also be a great geometry review activity before the geometry test.
