Happy FALL! It is a special time of year in my hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico! Take your class on a hot air balloon adventure!
This flipchart (FOR USE WITH ActiveInspire Software for Promethean Activeboards) contains facts about the world's largest hot air balloon FIESTA, Albuquerque's high desert climate, and lastly a creative writing assignment for your class to document their adventures in a hot air balloon!!!

Whole or Small Group Creative and Critical Thinking Skill Enrichment Grade 1
The attached is an Active Inspire flipchart that has 36 slides addressing the skills of fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration, analysis, evaluation, synthesis. There are three book suggestions within the slides to help illustrate creative thoughts and unique brainstorming examples.
The activities were designed as whole group, brainstorming centered things but can be done in small groups or printed out for children to do independently.

Density and Buoyancy Flipchart Properties of Matter
This Activinspire flipchart discusses how density and buoyancy are physical properties of matter that we live with daily. It also includes instructions for completing an experiment in small groups. Students will design a boat from a small piece of aluminum foil. The boat will be holding a cargo of paper clips. Newton's Laws and Motion
This is the flipchart I use to teach newton's laws and graphing motion to my 8th graders. I use this along with NASA's stomp rocket lab to teach about aerodynamics, force, motion, and acceleration. I also utilize motion sensors in order to begin teaching motion at the beginning of class.

This flip chart, created in ActiveInspire, is a daily, multicurriculum activity. I use this each morning as my students come into class. Each page consists of seven questions/puzzles/activities.
