TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello everyone! I am a newer teacher and began my journey in 4th grade general education. I have experience with many grade levels due to volunteering and my time as a substitute. I recently moved to 6th grade reading and couldn't be more excited. I also am the Adult Representative for our Student Council and am part of the discipline team at my school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love making learning fun and often try to bring in something engaging such as songs, full body learning, learning through exploration, and project based activities.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

It was an honor recently to be asked to oversee our student council and assist with our discipline team. I am PBIS trained and becoming an AVID trainer this summer.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I went to school in Arizona my entire life and graduated as an ASU Sun Devil. I now teach in the district that taught me. I began in 4th grade and now teach the 6th grade.
