The only thing you will need additionally is 1 poem or short story for a short exercise on finding tone/mood of a poem or text. In this activity, students will need to define personification, identify the nonhuman items and the personified attributes, interpreting stories by inferring the meaning of the personified story, and creating personification memes. Students love memes and love being able to create memes. With this online interactive activity, students will be to practice their personification skills and create their own content.
