Clever Classroom

I have taught Preschool, K - 6 and tutored 4-12 year-olds. My main experience is with kindergarten and first grade. I'm passionate about social skills, literacy, play based learning, classroom management and organization and art. I have also worked in Long Day Care, Vacation Care, Before and After School Care.

I aim to cater for individuals with a relevant hands-on approach. I believe children are capable of so much, if only guided and given the chance to grow. I know that self-esteem is the foundation to a confident, capable student and consequently, every interaction I have aims to nurture this. I believe that every experience shapes individuals and we are role-models who can develop knowledgeable, skilful, responsible and confident people. I know that setting goals for children to achieve in a structured but adaptive environment helps to grow their opportunities to access their potential.

I am a K-6 (full-time), teacher who is on sick leave. I started developing resources to make it easier when I returned to teaching. I am still making teaching resources and still on sick leave. I am not strong enough to return to the classroom yet. I started up my own business; 'Mrs. Farrell's Clever Classroom'. I also sell on eBay and have my own online store too.
