Water Pollution Observations
Use this activity to observe what happens to water when people litter. Pour clean water into 1 jar. In the 2nd jar, pour water and have students add trash. Students observe, and write what could happen to Earth's water if people litter.

Water Cycle Bag Experiment
Students will create the water cycle in a bag in groups. Worksheet is broken up into step by steps so that each child can participate in the project. After the students create the water cycle in bag, there are some questions for them to answer such as what do they think will happen to the water in the bag and what happened to the water in the bag after a few hours. Also I will be listing a PowerPoint with visuals for a step by step of what the students will need to do!

This Lab has three parts:
1. Prediction Worksheet—Students will draw their prediction to to the question by drawing what they believe will be the end result of the experiment.
2. Observation Worksheet— Students will fill out one worksheet for every time the plants are observed during the experiment. They should record the results they see at each observation.

Rock Observations Book- length & weight in metrics & english describe properties
Rock Hunts are fantastic in the younger grades-they are always fascinated by rocks! If it is possible, go outside to search for rocks.
Students then spend time observing thier rocks looking at characteristics like: harndess, size, grainy, texture, color, etc. Students create a book of their rock observations they can share or use to compare different rocks!
