The Puppet Rules Puppet Show Script
When I first started teaching elementary school theatre arts/creative dramatics, I was surprised that some students’ first response was to “whop/hit” the closest student to them. I then tried listing rules before handing out puppets; but they didn’t really listen to me, so I developed a puppet show that I perform using two puppets giving the rules. They now not only pay close attention to the rules, but many of them act it out later. Even my 4th and 5th graders ask me to do it each year.
